Halloween Night 2008

Our spread - here are about half of the 6 dozen cookies I made!
Carmel Apples - my favorite!

Eating candy with Jasmine & Simmy

All dressed up & ready to hit the streets for some trick-or-treating. Cody took all four of these little goblins out for some candy. They hit 3 whole houses before getting frozen out (it was 10 degrees). We had our friends Ryan & Jacie over also. We enjoyed lots of food, treats, and of course candy!

Wyatt's Pumpkin

Dad and Wy seperate seeds
"Cleanin' my hands"

"Yay Guts!"
"I'm so cute"

After 3 solid years of pumpkin carvin' Wyatt is an old pro. He absolutely loves pulling the guts out & playing with them. He was also very clear in what kind of face he wanted his pumpkin to have "like this daddy" he kept demonstrating while Cody carved!

Izy's Pumpkin

"Look at my GUTS"
"I gotta seed on my hand"

"Smile!!!"

"This is my 'hard workin' face"

Isaac sure enjoyed carving pumpkins this year. Last year he was a little young to totally get into it...but...this year! Watch out!! He had a ball picking the seeds out & playing with the 'guts'.

Trick-or-Treat Town

The kids & I trick-or-treating (and yes, there is an official baby bump under my jacket!)
Izy, Wy, Jacie & Ryan - all decked out!

One sweet tomato

My cuddly elephant

The boys and I joined friends for some early indoor trick-or-treating in Anchorage. As usual, daddy was still at work; working hard to make sure the kids can do such fun activities. My Wyatt was a handsome tomato (his choice) and Lil' Izy was a chubby elephant. Didn't daddy do a good job making Wy's tomatoe costume? Izy's warmy costume came from Costco. We had a good time, but quickly realized how old one becomes when parenting toddlers - by the time 8pm rolled around we were all totally exhausted!
