The Little Su 50k Race

Cody participated in the
Little Su 50k adventure race on Valentines Day. Not the most romantic day in recent history, but a huge accomplishment for Cody. The race started at Point McKenzie, about 20
minutes from our house, and made its
course to Flat Horn Lake & Back. Trail conditions were kind of terrible, lots of soft/deep snow to dredge through. Cody made his way back at 10pm. The kids and I watched movies in the mini van for about 3 hours while we waited. We watched the trail sweeper crews bringing tons of racers in who just could not make it any more, so we were so proud to see him come in! Cody was the
10th runner in and 55
th overall.

Good Job!!! Even though it sounded horrible... you finished and you were the 10th runner!!! not too shabby!!
