This is the view from the cabin. The snow was pretty thick when they arrived and there were no bears to be seen, but with mild temperatures and lots of rain the bears started poking their heads out by day 3. James shot his bear just below the snow line in the clearing to the right of the island. At low tide you could walk from the cabin to the clearing.
