As most of you know, we just spent 2 weeks in Mexico with Papa & Grandma S! When we got there it was storming, thunder, lightning and buckets of rain. All we could think was "we spent how much money for RAIN we could have had that for free!". The next day was beautiful though as was the rest of the trip. We split our time between the beech & the pool. Eat LOTS, drank a little, and most of all enjoyed the heat and each other's company. On another note, during the trip we found out that 2 of my grandparents were very very sick back in Oregon. We were able to re-route back to Oregon in an attempt to see them. Unfortunately the boys and I came down with the stomach flu. I was able to spend some time with my grandma before she underwent surgery; and I was able to spend a short time with my grandpa who is at the end of his life. Although we had a wonderful vacation, we are now focusing our thoughts and prayers on my grandparents. Check out our slide show with a few pics from the trip.
