Anchorage

Friends and Family, we thought this might be the best way to update everyone on our trip to Anchorage. The boys are great little travelers which made the trip north very uneventful - just what you want when flying! Cody's "Arctic Survival Training" went Tue-Thur and he spend Wednesday night sleeping in the -20 below windy Anchorage hillside. He did just great though and learned lots! Meanwhile, the boys and I went from one doc appointment to another trying to figure out why our little Wyatt is so darn skinny. He found out that although he hasn't gained an ounce in 3 months (and hardly more than that during the previous 3) he is healthy and growing tall. All tests have come back normal, so our game plan for now is to monitor his eating to find out just how much is going in. From there, the nutritionist will decide what kind of changes we need to make. On top of all the doc appointments I had to reschedule my week when I found out I would have to testify in court on a case pending since before Wyatt was born - what a drag! we were lucky enough however, to see a couple of friends in Anchorage between all the chaos. After all was said and done our flight home was delayed 4 or 5 hours then wasn't able to land because of the 4 feet of snow that was falling. We finally took the ferry on Saturday morning and made it safe and sound by 1pm to start shoveling snow!
