AND NOW...The Moment You've All Been Waiting For...

Hello to the world - this family of five (that includes the dog, siily) is finally blogging again!! Thanks to my good Alaska friend, Shelly, we have a computer and can update you all on our adventures in Petersburg as often as we want. Unfortunately we are having some trouble uploading pictures but we hope to have that resolved soon. We are all well and begining to adjust to our nre home and Island life. Our household belongings have been here about a week and we were able to enjoy a traditional "Christmas" dinner on New Years day. The boys are growing like little weeds and keep getting more fun (I guess thats what you call it) each day they grow older. Isaac laughs out loud when he watches Wyatt and is almost rolling over. Wyatt is busier than ever and loves watching the boats go by the front of the house. He shouts "bo, bo" when he sees them. He's also learning a few signs which makes communicating a little easier. Cody and I are adjusting to our new surroundings. The house is awesome which helps take away a little of the sadnes from leaving our friends and "Alaska" family in Wasilla and Anchorage. It's hard to pick up and move again, but we will try to adjust and make the experience a good one. We are already meeting lots of new friends here. The NMFS guys and Forest Service guy are all really nice and have great wives. I am going to a "play group" tomorrow with the boys and hope that I will make some good connections there. The town is very nice. It has the kind of small town feel that belongs on the movies. Everyone, including strangers, offers to help. The people insist on helping you out of the store with your groceries, and the store workers quiz you whenever you walk into their place because they know they don't recognize you.
